First one, I'm looking for a good tinted moisturiser, not too expensive.

Secondly, if you wax your upper lip, does it grow back stubbly or just grow back wispy? I don't want to look worse if I start getting it waxed.

Thanks in advance ladies.

  1. Laura Mercier is meant to be good but is a bit £££
  2. Wispy

I second Laura Mercier, but it's £33 ish. Origins do a nice one - about £25.

Pippinintherain · 13/05/2012 21:46

Thank you both, shall look at those.

Glad it grows back wispy. I had visions of having lovely stubble Grin

Another for Laura Mercier - worth the money and a little goes a long way.
And yes, wispy.

gnomeland · 13/05/2012 22:21

I've always used Laura Mercier (even when that was the only thing I owned) but Liz Earle was highly recommended on here recently so I thought I might give that a go.

I personally think all L E stuff well publicised but vastly over rated but others like them.

ELR · 13/05/2012 22:57

I am using origins at the moment zing something or other! It's really good best I've tried, they are offerings 15ml free sample at the moment with a £30 spend.

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 13/05/2012 23:03

I've got the Nivea tinted moisturiser which is more affordable and I've no complaints.

You get stubble with shaving because it cuts the hair off bluntly, rather than making it disappear from the root, therefore you don't get stubble with depilatory creams or waxing.

Liz Earl skin tint always gets rave reviews on here, and I bought it on their recommendation and am pleased with it.

Sorry never had lip waxed.

BellaVita · 14/05/2012 07:34

I had some samples of Liz Earle and I found it to be very good, so bought a tube last week.

I have never done anything to my top lip so cannot comment although my mother seems to take great delight in telling me that the day will come Hmm.

I use Liz Earle - find it v good for my sensitive skin
On the top lip front I have just had to start dealing with this problem this year. I have mine threaded along with my brows. Used to just have brows done but got fed up with the girls saying ' ...and your lip????' Grows back whispy.
