Hi

I am looking for recommendations for a dressmaker who does alterations in the greater Belfast/south Antrim/ballymena area.

Anyone used someone really good? Have a dress which was bought pre weight loss and want it taken in. But it was £££ and want a really good job.

Hi ChablisLover - I don't know anyone except the ZipYard on the Lisburn Road but can't vouch for them as haven't used them ever. Sorry - this is no use to you but didn't want you to not have a reply, no matter how useless :)

Can you ask in the shop where you bought it as they often have 'a lady'...unless you bought it online. Or ring a couple of posh shops on the Lisburn Rd and ask if they have 'a lady' (ask in a telephone voice!)

I used to use the service in carter but now it's long gone. It was v reasonable despite it being in carter.

Will try ringing around and will check out the zip yard dingdong.

Zip yard on the belmont road is v good! I have used them for a number of things from zip replacement to curtains. Pricey though.
