desperately seeking navy shoes

Help please! I need smart navy shoes, preferably mid heel, to wear with a navy suit. Made more difficult by the fact I have broad feet (don't always need wide fit but if they're on the narrower side I can't wear them). Budget under £60 ideally. I've walked the shops today and come up with nothing.

As a fellow wide footed type I feel your pain!

A lot of plus size places do wide fit shoes and VivaLaDiva usually have a good selection.

I've seen cream and red on the on the high street newlook / next / evens but no navy anywhere, would you consider that?

MrsLettuce · 12/05/2012 19:52

Or nude of course, at least as conservative as cream or navy.

Pelicano · 12/05/2012 19:55

these, I could run in!

Pelicano · 12/05/2012 19:59

Not those, these with 20% off today only.

Have been living in Next wide fit since they started doing them. My plan is to go with nude if I really can't get navy but as it's an interview I need them for I don't want to give up just yet.

Having followed your link, WHITE,size:5 these are a maybe too.

And these are worth ordering if desperate at that price.

I really like these but more than I want to pay and don't know what Hobbs sizes are like.

Ah, maybe you not as wide footed as me. I can't get my feet into standard heels at all.

In that case surely M&S is the answer?

Marthasfishbowl · 12/05/2012 20:09

Thanks Pelicano - I think that's job done! Saw these earlier but didn't have them in my size. Couldn't find them online when I looked. Smile

I'm 50/50 with standard fit shoes which is why I tend to rely on wide fit if ordering online. I tried on 2 pairs of standard fit today and both were uncomfortable but I'd walked town by that point so they were definitely swollen! Thank you for your help too MrsL.

Bought some in M&S recently - they were so good I went back and bought a second pair Blush

Gabor do a nice navy patent wide fit with low wide heel and a bow on the front. They are available at John Lewis and Jones the Bootmaker. I have them in black and wore them at work pretty much every day for a year and they still look like new. All their shoes are wide fit, just ignore the more grannyish styles!

OP try these, I have them and they are super-fab
