So my cardi was delivered, but its a bit big & returning it will be a pain.....

I think its just a bit too loose, however, hubby says not. I ordered it online so no return to a store and returning/exchanging it as i have discovered is going to be a bit of a hassell (you have to print out returns label etc - er i don't have a printer that works!)

Its 100% cotton. Its machine washable, but advises not to tumble dry. Mmmm, if i was to put it in the dryer, would that shrink it ever so slightly? or would it damage it beyond repair?.....sigh

it would damage it. you can't control how much it shrinks and it won't necessarily shrink evenly.

I would return it. Cotton usually stretches when you wear it so it will get bigger. Give the company a ring and tell them you don't have a printer. They might send you a label. It is never worth keeping stuff you aren't sure about.
