It was love at first sight, but what can I wear these boots with?

I've seen these boots and I love them, but I'm a bit unsure of what could I wear them with. Never had this style of boot before and not sure how to style them. Any ideas?

I'm an 8-10 FWIW though my legs aren't as toned as hers I think.

I was thinking they'd look great with denim shorts or skirt.

Thanks I am an 8-10 but not an 8-10 with any style, I never seem to know how to put things together and worry I'm dressing too young for me (31).

I do have a dress that is black with grey and brown flowers on it and I think it would go quite well with the boots. Normally I'd wear flat pumps with it so it'd be a bit of a change from my normal style. I think I'd start off with thick tights and then try with nude tights if I was feeling bold.
