Anyone used this? Does it work? I'm ancient, ans willing to give it a try. Does it work, though?

Previous threads have said it's useless.

Watching with interest as have been tempted but not sure whether it's a load of....... I tried Nanogan for use on slight hair thinning, but it was vile. Just looked like I'd tipped a load of soot over my head and I daredn't venture outdoors in case it rained/I sweated and ended up with black streaks down my face.

My sister has tried this, and she did not like it, not sure why.

I believed the hype before reading anything on here so got my mum to buy it for me for my birthday. I am very disappointed.

I can't get it to work with make-up at all - as it's a cream it doesn't seem to sit ontop on foundation more like repels it. I have tried it under foundation to much the same effect it seems to not mix with foundation atall. I can only get it to sit on my skin if it's the only thing I'm wearing.

Its ok without foundation and going au-naturel, it gives my face a nice 'evenish' look, (but nowehre near as good as a good foundation) and as I'm 42 I wouldn't go to work without foundation on and certainly wouldn't want to go on a night out without a 'full-face' on.

Feel sad that it was a waste of what I thought would be a nice birthday treat.

I agree with message on this one, it's a load of rubbish! No way can you wear it over foundation, it just makes your foundation go all smudgy.

biryani · 09/05/2012 07:46

Thanks all. I've got some, used it and I agree with messagetorudy. It sort of gives me a blank look without foundation, and a patchy look with foundation. I suppose it would work if your skin is flawless enough to go without foundation, but otherwise a waste of money.

I think it's good. I don't wear foundation though, just tinted moisturizer or BB cream. And not much of that. But it definitely works. In the sense that the trompe l'oile effect is, well, effective.

I have changed my mind!! It DOES work, up to a point, I think, and better value for twenty quid than some other products. It seems to work best on me when combined with light-deflecting non-greasy foundation.

shite

cazza40 · 10/05/2012 19:43

Complete waste of money - used it twice - it did nothing for me. Annoyed that I believed the hype
