Boden have lost their way. Expansive prints with expensive price tags..YUK

Got their 'must have' bag. Vile beyond belief. Cheaply made but not cheaply bought...this seasons dresses are like something from a '70's nightmare....garish, gigantic prints and huge flowers...Why are all the models 20? Are they scared of showing women over 35 wearing their clothes!?
Loads of cheap jersey stuff (yuk...) Their silver sandals look OK but the silver wears off after a few hours wear...Jumpers pill after a few washes...prices soaring etc AND...I am SOOO sick of their blurb about 'life at boden'...
They used to be great..what happened..?

I much prefer their a/w collections. Don't think s/s is that bad, but perhaps I'm in the minority. I am totally in love with their riviera shirt dress .

I do agree about jumpers pilling. I wear my handbag across me and I have a large diagonal pilling streak from shoulder to hip.

You don't have to buy the vile prints.

I do agree about the jersey though - it's over-whelming and looks cheap - and of course vile cheap jersey is something all shops knock out.

I don't think it's that expensive tbh, people are just used to buying cheap shite.

Boden's sizing is so bizarre I've given up. I went to a Boden party and the sample size 8 cardi fitted me, I'm a 12-14, same shirts, different colours, sizing varies, coats too big, etc etc. I just can't really be bovvered with them any more.

Agree they are better in the winter. I often like their chunky cardies and cosy pjs. But in summer they often go for extra-vile colour palettes. However there are usually one or two things I fancy - not this year!

For women I think winter is better.

For boys I think s/s is good.

The prints are hideous.

Hi daisy bit of a thread hijack but is this the must have bag?

What did you find was wrong with it...I have been lusting after it but wondering now if I shouldn't bother getting it.
