o.k fashion gurus, would it be crap to wear a navy blazer with dark jeans ?

or should i get a blazer in a different colour ?

Don't see why it would be crap. Just don't wear it with pearls or one of those big bows in the back of yourhair like Sarah Ferguson used to wear.

Because it could easily veer into Sloaney and that is really not a good look, unless you want to look like Lady Diana or (worse) Margaret Thatcher. :)

Long pearls and a black blazer could be nice though, maybe?

There are some fab Therapy blazers at house of fraser but I can't remember which colours they come in.
