Stripy highlights!

My friend who used to do a bit of hair dressing does my highlights for me we just use the jerome Russell bblonde kit with the highlighting cap. Usually I like them but as my hair is longer it didn't seem like enough bleach and may have left the bleach on a bit longer this time. It's gone all stripy! How can I fix this? I thought about using john frieda blonding spray (like sun in) to blend the darker bits, will that work? Any other ideas? Thank youu

A proper hairdresser I think. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to do, I can't think of a cheap at-home solution.

If you really dont want to go to the hairdressers, buy a toner for blonde hair. It will calm down the highlights and blend them into your natural colour if your natural colour is not too dark.

Oh blimey, yes, buy a toner!

I have just reread your post.... Don't use a blonding spray, unless you are very blonde to begin with or want to go a bit ginger.

I'm a kinda dirty blonde to start with, will that go gingery? Oh I wish I could afford colour at the hair dressers!
