LK Bennet Heels

I am thinking about ordering a pair of the nude heels that seem to have become rather famous by Kate wearing them!

Do you own them? They are expensive so I'd want to walk in them all day and for them not to hurt. What about sizing?

I don't own them but have tried on in my local outlet (£95 instead of whatever they are) and they seem comfy, sizing came up quite big IIRC

iwantanoompaloompa · 04/05/2012 14:10

The shoes are comfy and sizing good.

However, the soles are leather and wear out in about 3 minutes. I once took some back and was given a withering look by shop assistant and told me it was my own fault for walking in them Confused.

Weddings - yes. Dinner (id you're getting a cab) - yes.

Anything else - you'll need to get them resoled immediately.

exactly what iwant said. Quality great, sizing true, but soles aren't for the lies of me :)

InnitDoh · 04/05/2012 15:40

They are great, bought them a few weeks ago. They scuff really easily, though.

itdidntworkout · 04/05/2012 15:52

I find them to be a little too narrow, so I can only wear them for half a day.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/05/2012 16:22

I wear leather soles once, take them to get re-soled as the scratchs make the soles stick better.

If you go to a dry cleaners they usually have a re-soling service.

I never saw it as a problem really.

gregssausageroll · 05/05/2012 08:28

The website tells you about having a half sole added but I am not sure i am happy with the scuffing. I might stick with my M&S £19.50 equivalents!

I think they are really narrow, I sold mine on ebay as I just couldn't wear them (have very wide feet).

They were beautiful Sad.

I've the black shilos and they are soooo uncomfortable. Purely for evenings when I will be sitting down a lot. Wore them once to a drinks party and nearly chewed my own feet off they were that painful and I wear heels a lot!

The m&s ones aren't such a nice shape but they are so much more comfortable.

suebfg · 05/05/2012 19:29

Personally I refuse to fork out to have shoes re-soled when you're paying so much for them - they're not fit for purpose otherwise.

M&S Insolia had some nice pinky nude heels

Maraki · 05/05/2012 20:42

I've got the 'sledge' in black which is the same style Kate Middy has in nude. The soles are diabolical, I almost slipped and broke my neck on a rainy day. Got the shoes in the sale for £95 then paid £17 to have a rubber sole stuck on (annoying). The herl is really high, but the shoe is well balanced, stable and good for a 'going out' evening shoe. Don't even think about it for work, way too high (and tarty IMHO). I've got long narrow feet.

Forgot to day that they make mu legs lool amazing ( v important)i
