Confused what category I fall into?

Ok so I'm not sure if this has been done before....but here goes anyway.
I'm 34. Recently had a baby (9mo old). Used to be slimmer now a size 14/16. Big boobs and big ish belly (quite conscious of belly and trying to work on it!!) Used to be a bit of a tomboy but grown out of that about 3 yrs ago. Then went kind of trendy and girly before DS.
I will wear dresses. I am now finding it hard to get jeans that fit and don't give me that horrible lump thing inbetween my belly and my fufu (iykwim). I can wear jeggings/leggings but I get fed up of them and not really sure if they suit me (5'3'' and short legs too)Confused. I sometimes wear a smock type thing over these (tight over boobs then flares out a little and covers bum/belly).
Anyway my real question/dilema is I'm not really sure where I fit in the whole fashion stakes thing. I feel too young to start dressing too frumpy/mumsy. But everything that I try, which fits seems to make me look this way. I also feel too old and rotund for a lot of the younger fashions in the shops at the moment. I look in monsoon, river island (!!) and next for fashion inspiration but I get really confused.
Anyone else having/had this problem? And any advice on what I could wear? Or will I just have to bite the bullet and get Gok on the case????Grin

Oh Lordy, I hear you all too well. I'm 36, have two DC, 2.10 and 1.5 and I am in EXACTLY the same place as you. 5'1" and have gained weight and frump in equal measure.

Feel out of my depth shopping now and struggling to find good jeans (I LIVE in jeans, cannot contemplate life without them. Look better in a dress but not v practical with two toddlers). Have found myself catching a glimpse if my reflection and thinking "wow, she's lumpy and knackered looking and clearly didn't check the mirror before coming out" then realising I am looking at myself Sad

No real advice as such, just wanted to get on the team Smile

Also have given up on tunics as with c-s x 2 overhang (and also cake overhang) it just looks like maternity wear.

Given I was in maternity wear for 18 months in 2 years not do long ago, it's not a look I want to go back to!
