A quick yay or nay- This dress with opaque tights, black flats and a cardi? Will it look ok?

I have bought this dress

Will it look ok if I wear black flats, thick black tights and a little black cardi over the top? Its just for going on a casual date to the cinema and something to eat. I'm an 8-10, only 5ft3 so whilst it says a tunic its a decent length dress on me!

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it would need heels and a blazer or jacket but I don't own one so was hoping flats and a cardi wouldn't look daft!

cardy, black tights and flats if the sort of thing I would wear with it.
Its the sort of dress you could dress it up or dress it down iyswim, but for casual date to the cinema would look nice as you describe I think
