please :)

i got £20 M&S voucher and £15 chq for my birthday today.

I am 20 weeks after giving birth, and am BFing, so anything need to be bf-friendly, and slightly baggy at the waist...

i have lost most of my pg weight, but my hips are now higher than they were.
size 12 (ish) on bottom, but not sure about top now - feeding bra is 34dd.

thank you!

I'm not sure what £20 gets from M&S in terms of clothing, but I'd spend it on a nice ready made meal and a bottle of wine.

Sorry, that's probably not very useful is it!

Maybe a basic well made top to see you through the summer?

Grin

I want to buy clothes because all my pre-pg clothes are rather too short now my hips have moved. Blush
and i can't justify buying clothes on my lack of income

I'm totally open to suggestions

I don't think you'll get much in m&s, but if it was me I'd get a couple of their basic vests, great for layering when breastfeeding, then pop to h&m for a top or two to go over the top

chaosisawayoflife · 01/05/2012 17:32

Oh, and happy birthday!

Mombojombo · 01/05/2012 19:21

Put in £2.50 of your own hard-earned and get some of their jeggings?

I know they're not a top, and maybe you might not be that happy with skinnies if your shape has changed post pregnancy (even though you're a mini size 12), BUT they are very forgiving, nicely high-waisted and the colours are great.

mrsebojones · 01/05/2012 19:59

I would probably spend the £20 M&S voucher on a scarf... your shape may continue to change and a scarf will look good whatever shape or size you are.

mirpuppet · 01/05/2012 22:43

I think the jeggings are a good suggestion -- if it gets warm you will be able to fine button up tops to go with them.

nickelhasababy · 02/05/2012 11:45

sorry, I don't do trousers of any kind.

In winter I do tights and skirts, but wear knee-ish length skirts in summer.
:)

just looking through the rest of your suggestions now - thank you :)

those ones look nice though :)
(my thighs are massive and knees are odd)

a scarf is a good idea - might stop dd pulling my hair... Wink
