Is it a jumble sale or is there anything worth looking at?

In my local ones they generally have a lot of skincare which looks "quality" but i'm not familiar with the names.

Could any of you knowledgeable "skincare" bods tell me which brands i should keep any out for??

TIA

Recently I decided to buy some skin care products, all exspensively packaged but makes I had not heard of, have to say I have been very pleased with them, yes you can buy some L'oreal products in TK Maxx but whats the point when you can buy them in Boots etc for the same price. I recently bought a Retinol serum, an American make for 9.99 it seems fab, so yes go ahead and try!Their sun protection range is good too, well known brands including Lancaster.

i wondered that too, OhCobblers. Didn't recognise any of the names . Also how old are they , I wonder.

I agree with those who have said the more you go in, the better bargains you are likely to get. I think you also have to just buy what you love. There is little point of going in with a 'wish-list' as they are unlikely to have exactly what you want at the time you are looking.

A few weeks ago I got a Theory cashmere cardigan, a Vince slouchy black jumper and a silk Luella blouse for great prices.

If they the one you are going to sells babywear it's great to stock up on presents for up-coming babies too! I got a Paul Frank blanket for a friend a couple of years ago, and some CK bodysuits for another friend last year.

I also buy DH t-shirts from there, they have a massive range - esp of surfy type brands.

Enjoy!

I love all the smellies, the accessories and the homewares; it's all a bit different to what you see on the high street, and you never know what you'll find.

I find the women's clothing is hard work, as the sizing can be a bit random with all the different brands, and you do have to wade through a mountain of tat to find anything good.

Handbags are always good. Shoes....hmm....never seen anything nice.

Well DH didn't like some of his t-shirts so I need to go back on Saturday when the boys are swimming. Ooooh shame!

It will be good to see if they have more stock in. I might get more chance to look at handbags properly.

I'm just back from a spectacular trawl through TK and am now 250 quid lighter. Hope DH doesn't like his jeans and shirts... Leighton Denny, Stila, Fossil, Clements Ribiero, Damsel in a Dress in abundance (to name just a few good ones) and a pair of FC grey ankle boots are now mine for a tenner. Gotta love TK Grin

kids swimwear. i got dd a speedo swimsuit for £6.

DH has a special talent. He looks along the rail, just looks, no touching or moving things. He will then pull out everything designer eg polo and when I look the stuff left is all the cheaper stuff.

I am on the look out for the orange labels that signify Missoni..
