We are getting a local store. What is it like and is it worth a visit?

It depends- sometimes they have a great range of stuff in there- reasonably priced- a week later you can go in there and it's crap.

Worth a visit and if that's not good try again a few weeks later!

Cheap but not very chearful really. I buy the dc what I call 'play' clothes, cheap tshirts etc for playing in the garden, painting, at childminders etc that you don't mind if they get a bit mucky. Baby bits I found went like a bit of rag after a few washes, some pretty dresses for the summer for dd. Good for basics like sleeveless tops for about a fiver for the summer.

You get the odd nice thing and you go back the next week and nothing there. Bit like Asda clothes for the dc, cheap and cheerful but actually the Asda tops wash up lovely!

I went in before my holidays to get some cheap bits and pieces (had never been in before.) Sizing was a bit all over the place and their linen trousers were the roughest things I have ever worn in my life.

Won't be bothering in future but heard that some of the homeware can be nice.
