High waisted Skinny jeans on the high street

Style and beauty lurker coming out for help :)
Desperately need some new high waisted skinny jeans (black) going to town tommorow so need to be high street. Have relied on topshop Kirsten but they don't seem to do them anymore-I even bought some on eBay but they got lost in the bloody post.
Any suggestions on which shops to try?

M&S 5 pocket jeggings are a good fit - only 22.50, they just look like normal skinnies.

Top shop still have kristens on their website in 5 colours inc black and they were definitely in stock in the top shop I was in last weekend.

I did just buy some high waisted skinnies from next ( not a big next fan but wanted bottle green and extra long leg for a high street price which restricted my options). They were only £26 so significant saving on top shop prices. Quality isn't the greatest, cheap finish on pockets etc and I suspect they will stretch more than I want them to, but I am pretty happy with them, especially as I think I'll be over coloured jeans by 2013.

PS the waist on the next ones is very high, assume that is what you want?

Warehouse ultra skinnies have. Quite a high waist on them. Primark also do high waisted skinnies.

I am a fan of these! Have the M&S jeggings that bettybathroom mentions in black. They are flattering but I would describe as more 'on the waist' rather than 'high waist' iyswim!! I also have the Topshop Kirsten jeans in a lovely mid blue shade. Probably my favourites. Next also does good high waisted jeans in a variety ot shades. Have heard people on here moan that they stretch but this has never been my experience!

Tried a few pairs on, mostly seem really poor quality or too long for me. Topshop still don't have the Kirsten ones in so I went for some baxters -they seem to sit higher than they used to. Got them in a size smaller as they always seem to stretch a bit-let's hope so anyway!
