Caravaners wardrobe - practical & with style!

DH & I are just about to purchase our first caravan.

Conisdering that packing will need to be minimal, light and covering all the seasons in one weekend in Britain... what can I invest in that will not make me look like a prize wally.

I am 28, size 8-10. I do like a boyish look so don't really want to go too feminine. I am quite active so like sports wear and I love country wear, musto joules etc because I'm from a horsey background.

I hate to be cold, i'm always cold!

I also have a 3yr old to run around after and 2 dogs.

I was thinking along the lines of a good pair of jeans to go with walking boots and some layers on top....... a capsule wardrobe.

Any suggestions of key items to include or avoid or any websites that pitch it right?

Many thanks if you can take the time to help me out!

I sound similar to you, albeit a bit older now :)

I find that a Breton stripey top is a key staple to wear with jeans
And what about a nice gilet?
I love my Oasis Cherry skinny jeans too

You might want to look at Boden for brighter prints???

Warm Pjs for a start and dressing gown!
Wellies - not short ones.
A fleece that you can wear outdoors instead of a coat Boden /Joules in sale but they wash and wash forever but you'd know that. And a something like a hoody from Uniqlo for indoors.
Actually Uniqlo do a great range for your basics.

m&s thermal socks are good. My best purchase ever was a huge cardigown type thing from Figleaves. I wore it over PJs or during the day over anything.

I feel like I'm preparing for an arctic trip!

Thermal underwear 'for evening'! John Lewis had some on Wednesday. Otherwise stock up at Uniqlo and M&S next winter.
