clothes for going from beach to restaurant

What do you suggest from pool side to hotel resturant for lunch etc?? Many thanks for any ideas.

I wear kaftans (H&M have some nice ones on line part. the white one with blue embroidery), harems with a vest or a beach maxi dress. They're all loose and easy to wear. You can get good stuff pretty cheaply - Primark, Peacocks, H&M, New Look & ASOS are all worth a look.

I concur with monkeysmama. I don't ever spend too much on beach dresses since they all seem to get manky with sun lotion anyway. Would just add Tesco and TK Maxx to the list.

I tend to wear kaftans or light strappy dresses, occasionally shorts and a vest. I also keep a scarf with me to tie around my hair in a turban style or worn as a wide Alice band (depending how crap my fringe looks by lunch).

Thanks ladies. Had a look online but all the kaftans are very short so ok for beach bar but not sure about hotel resturant, I guess shorts underneath??

I tend to go with light, strappy sundresses or have also had some jersey t-shirt type dresses that are great for throwing over bikini and going for lunch. You just have to be careful that you don't have wet swim stuff as damp 'buttock patches' aren't a great look when you get up!
