Can anyone suggest a hairstyle for my medium length hair that I can do myself at home, going out tomorrow evening, got a fab frock and don't want the hair to let me down.

I'm wearing this dress but in a brighter red, nude sling backs, I have lashings of fake tan on, gold bangles and big gold hoop earrings.

My hair is bra strap length, very fine and straight, blonde, with a long fringe. I don't have any straighteners, or curlers. I do have a hairdryer :o

I just want to add some volume, maybe lift the crown a bit Brigitte Bardot style, has anyone seen any good youtube tutorials or similar.

what on earth is a sock bun CMOT? My hair's not great at holding curls as it's so fine.
