Bored, bored, bored of winter coat - what's next? Jacket or mac?

So fed up of my parka now, looking for the mid season replacement so tried this in all the colours, lovely but I seem to look wider at the top with all the panels and buttons than I am in reality Confused. I am an hourglass so Dressipi recommending macs a plenty but also thought about maybe a shorter jacket to wear with jeans etc?

What have you bought to see you through to Summer (whenever that is)?

I am trying very hard not to buy any new spring/summer coats as I have a vast collection already :o

I have:

cotton/tencel parka with drawstring waist (stone)
three fitted blazers (pale grey, navy, stone)
mac (red)
linen Chanel-esque jacket - bracelet length sleeves, round neck etc (navy)
waterproof parka (khaki - total Top Shop bargain last summer which manages to cope with heavy rain and yet looks cool - who knew??!!)
waxed biker jacket for cooler days (brown)

I think that's everything

Instantly Envy ujjayi Grin

I have a leather biker-ish jacket but wanted something a bit different. I seem to have trouble with blazers too, need to be fitted well and they are often too baggy for me (realise that makes me sound much thinner than I am Blush).

I seem to be surrounded by Mums in Barbour jackets at the moment?

I'm sick of the sight of my parka but seeing as the current "drought" shows no sign of abating I'm not putting it in the loft just yet.

EllenRose - I struggled to find blazers which didn't look either too big or that I had missed a meeting at the office Hmm! I finally found that Zara Basic range were the best fit. The cut is close without being tight and not in the least bit "office-like".

Looking at the weather right now wasabipeanut and I am with you, it is just so depressing Sad

Top tip re Zara ujjayi - I will have a look, that sounds more like it.
