Always the day before a big night out.
Always when I haven't got any fenastil and can't get to a chemist for shitty zovirax til it's too late.
Do other sufferers try and cover them up and if so - how?
Thank you.

In the past I have used a patch and shed loads of mineral make up which has covered them up.

I get them. Horrible buggers. Are yours more on your lip or above it? Mine are more on my lip. So lipstick will cover it a bit when it's less swollen.

Yep, a patch and some clever make-up in an emergency.

Bit late for this one but I invested in one of these which definitely helps to prevent them developing if you can catch them quickly enough.

I also recently started taking a daily dose of Ester-C (1000mg) after suffering a new coldsore every damn week ( am pregnant and had been plagued with them more than usual AND had fecking shingles to add insult to injury) and haven't had a single one since.
