Independent personal shopper in Belfast?

I know its a long shot but I hate shopping so much Im willing to pay for someone to do it for me. Has anyone any recommendations? I need literally an entire new wardrobe...except for a pair of brown boots that I love...

Alternately you could ask in house of Fraser for a personal shopper. I've had good response from that

I think there is one called fashion pharmacy (google it). No idea what they are like. I think there is one in victoria sqaure, ie one that covers all the shops not just house of Fraser. I've just checked and there is google Victoria square and its there.

Hi Mousey and thanks to chocolateteabag for the recommendation. Even though I have a serious shopping habit and do have some knowledge of what suits different body shapes, I'm not a qualified stylist or personal shopper. Having said that, I'm sure I could help you but if you want the full on amazing personal shopper experience, I couldn't recommend Rebecca at Victoria Square highly enough. I've not yet been to her myself but anyone I know who has, has been really pleased with what she's suggested. She charges £30 (I think) but anything you buy, you get 20/30% discount on so you've covered that cost as soon as you spend over £100.
She's got a gorgeous suite at VS with private changing rooms. Would be a lovely treat...I'm hoping to go on my birthday in June :)
But I'm very happy to help if you just want a more informal, shopping with a friend experience. No charge - I've just been doing it for friends recently to test out the concept and see if it's something I would like to do/am any good at :)

Thats so sweet! Though you may want to kill me within half an hour - Im like those sulky kids who trapse round after their mums with glum looks on their faces. .I would have to be paying someone and that way they cant be mean to me ;)

Rebecca is employed by VS so she's not tied to any one shop, which is good. :)

Ah, I see. Well, happened to be in town today and asked in top shop and hof and luckily got fitted in. Im home with lots but really not fussed on the majority of it. Not their fault- just doesn't seem to be much that actually suits me that's in fashion ATM!

However, I'm still tempted to try rebecca and will call in the morning. :)

That's great Mousey.... it's good to try other stuff though and better to get them home before you decide. Sounds like you know what suits you, so that's half the battle. Hope you get fitted in with Rebecca - would love to hear how you get on! :)

Well, I had the appointment this evening and she is so lovely! I told her you had recommended me, but I didnt know your real name! :)

She encouraged me to try on different styles but actually listened to my feedback unlike the ladies who had helped me before. In fact, we went over the time by half an hour as she really wanted to help me find shoes! Wish id had longer and will def be back, though I feel more confident trying new stuff.

In the end I got about 15 items and of them all theres only one Im not very sure about. I also have a few things that she pointed out but we didnt have time to try on, so ill go back for them soon. Im a very happy girl now!
