WWYW to go to the pub with the school mummys? Have no clue these days..sigh

Help me. School mums night out tomorrow one of those slightly weird nervous nights where I will slightly know loads of people and actually know no one.
I have no idea what to wear. Its drinks at a nice-ish pub, that I will walk to (and back, when its dark) so I can't do tottery or chilly outfits under any circumstances these days..
So what would you wear?

Was on a meal out with mummies from school last week. I wore cropped trousers and a top (Ted Baker). Most wore pretty similar stuff.

Smart jeans & elegant top. If you don't wear heels, make your flats as elegant as you can. You will probably be able to hang up a coat, in a niceish pub, so should be fine to wear one.

I usually find these things are a bit dressier than you would normally be with people you know quite well.
