POLYESTER DRESSES

are everywhere.

I'm looking for a dress for DD's christening and I'm still BF which limits my options. I've been looking online loads - most of the dresses are nylon.

I just went into Phase Eight at lunchtime as they had some possibles online, and even the dresses said to be 'viscose' feel like really cheap stretch polyester. These dresses are £100 or more.

Who wants to go through summer surrounded by static & all sweaty?

Guess I just need to express my disappointment.

If you look carefully youc can find 100% cotton/ 100% wool or 100% silk good for some cuts of dresses not so great for others.

I know it can be a bit formal but the hobbs outlet has a few silk, wool or cotton dresses.

Thanks - there are some nice dresses at Hobbs. Breast Feeding really complicates things though, and I don't want anything above the knee.

Most of my dresses are cotton or silk, or even man made fabrics but they aren't sweaty fabrics. I was shocked at how cheap the fabrics were at Phase 8 - expected at DP perhaps but if you go 'up' a level price wise I expect more.

I've always equated Monsoon with lovely fabrics - now its mainly polyester too!

This could be nice (if colours suit you) and perhaps breast feeding friendly

Seasalt make lovely organic cotton stuff at reasonable prices. Possibly People Tree, Uniqlo, also? For higher priced stuff there's Toast.
