Help me mumsnet- does this swimming costume exist?

I am about to give in and order this but I thought if anyone can find me the ideal suit, mumsnet can...

What I really, really want is... a sporty looking swimming costume with shorts legs or longer and a built in sports bra in a 34G, for a triathlon. I don't want a tankini, they ride up on me. I don't want underwiring. The only suits I have found with sports bras are Freya (no legs) and Shock Absorber (no legs, mostly discontinued, and I have had one of their tankinis which rode up and went see through very quickly).

I will settle for any recommendations for suits where the legs don't ride up and the 'bust support' is in some way supportive and will accommodate a G cup. I can always wear a sports bra over it for the event.

Any answers wise ladies? I have googled til I am blue in the face!

Hi celtic. I don't know much about big boobs, or even triathlons, although I do have a triathlon as a personal target for the next few years. Sweaty Betty has a costume here and here. Don't know what other triathletes are wearing.

When I do tri's I wear my sports bra underneath my short leg trisuit so keeps me pretty dry and boobies in place for running - is this an option?

I'm a 34E and with the tri suit and bra the babies don't budge!

Stylelostinlabour · 25/04/2012 18:51

apologies for the autocorrect to boobies and babies the shame gets coat...

Thanks for your replies. I wasn't planning to get a tri suit as this is almost certainly a one off. I thought it would be better to get a swimming costume I will wear again. I'm not aiming for any particular pace so losing seconds putting a pair of leggings on over my cossie is not a problem!

Hi - here - select womens swimwear, "legsuits" then "bust support" (down the LH side)

www.simplyswim.com

Tried to link direct to the page but couldn't get it to work.

Any good? Good luck!

Stylelostinlabour · 25/04/2012 21:44

I would hire a tri suit - you can get them from loads of places and then normal sports bra it's the only way to go and you will thank me for the lack of chaffing you will not be suffering

CelticPromise · 25/04/2012 22:21

Thanks for the suggestion ooer a couple of candidates on there. Smile

Thanks again Style, it's only a sprint so I am not too worried about chafing.

m.simplyswim.com/products/Speedo/EndurancePlusMyrtleLegsuit-Black.aspx

The above one is £26 and has long shorts, good for in between waxes too Wink

Can recommend simply swim, they deliver really quickly even with standard delivery.

CelticPromise · 26/04/2012 14:47

Thanks all. I have ordered a Speedo legsuit that looks reasonably supportive, will report back.

Suit in my regular size is too big everywhere... except across my breasts where it is far too small and the support is useless. Think I am going to have to order a Freya tankini and sew it together!

Simply Swim did deliver very quickly though. Smile
