I know it can be hit & (very much) miss, but it's on my keep-the-baby-asleep-longer route home so I pop in a couple of times a week and today found:

Stila convertible Color (lip & cheek) in Rose
Convertible eye Color in forest
SPF 20 lip Color in Keren (lovely nudey colour)
All for £7.99!!!

Last time I got convertible color it alone was abou £22!!

Also got some Aveeno eye serum for £4

And some aloe vera gel...

And a white blouse...

And a water bottle...

And a cake tin...

Only went out for some milk from Co-op.

I got DD1 2 pairs of Levi curve jeans in there for 25 quid each. She was well chuffed. Grin

Got the Stila here... fab!

boringnamechange · 29/04/2012 20:00

I have been hunting for a bag for ages and today in tkmaxx I found the perfect one - but just out of my price range :( gorgeous fossil bag rrp £199 down to £89. Trying soooo hard to justify it. Fossil bags are good though aren't they? It would be an investment wouldn't it???

My local also had loads of the stilia make up 3 items for £7. Might take a wonder back tomorrow and check them out.

pocketandsweet · 30/04/2012 11:51

Thanks for the heads up.... I got three gorgeous Stila products for £7. You couldn't see e colours pre-purchase but they were all gorgeous and totally wearable. I might just go back for more I am so pleased with my bargains.

I've just bought 2 pairs of Levis Curve jeans for £24.99 each. I have previously paid £95 for the same jeans in the Levis shop. Really pleased.

LaMeuf · 30/04/2012 15:20

I love TK Maxx!

I got a little bag of stila today too and a big pot of 8 hour cream for £12 (as well as a couple of cake tins, nip and fab exfoilator, 300 thread count egyptian cotton sheets and - generously - a superdry jacket for DH for £50.

Went in for quick browse, spent a fortune. Usual story.

Atreegrowsinbrooklyn · 30/04/2012 15:53

What brand of bed linens do they sell? I am after some more linen sheets. Do they ever sell Yves Delorme, Hobbs bedding, Ralph Lauren or Dorma?

whitelillies · 30/04/2012 17:03

Ohh same here - I got frette duvet cover tree once
Jigsaw bed linen too
All saints scarf (love love it)
Lots of kitchenwwear - Le creuset stuff
And the cutest kiddies aprons for ds and dd (one a sherif motif and one a princess) I swear they ve saved many an outfit and were about 4€ each! They re typhoon too.
But you do need to be 'lucky' on the day really!

Atreegrowsinbrooklyn · 30/04/2012 17:10

Excitedly typing here.....Whitelillies...I love Frette. Alongside Yves Delorme it is my dream bedding.

I have the blackcurrant Le Creuset casserole but live in fear of dropping lid onto my newish slate floor and cracking it. So may avoid further heavy purchases with my butter fingers.

Mombojombo · 30/04/2012 18:09

I've been back in today and got 2 more Stila sets, and elizabeth Arden gel liner in lovely teal colour and Arden cream blush. AND some demi-curve skinnies!

Then I went to Sainsburys and got 3 of the dresses-that-are-great-for-breastfeeding-in. Best thing about that is I can just stick it on the joint household credit card cos it'll just come up as sainsburys! DH will never know! Hurrah!

The secret to TK Maxx is to only go in when you are in the mood for a good root round, otherwise its depressing imho.

Got a lovely designer bag there recently and forced myself to go straight to the till without looking further.

My most unusual purchase there was mosquito nets. Grin

I was inspired by this thread and looked at the make up in there, got Stila tinted moisturiser and foundation stick and a brow set for a tenner. and an ace new frock.

Mrsrobertduvall · 01/05/2012 15:56

I must be the only person in the world never to have bought anything from there.
I occasionally go in and gaze in bewilderment.
Then go out.
