Have very dry hands at the moment. Currently using L'Occitane hand cream but finding it too greasy. Any suggestions please?

Hemp hand cream from the Body Shop is good.

alwaysrunninginheels · 25/04/2012 13:38

And the body shop almond one too!

gingertea · 25/04/2012 14:00

Burts Bees banana hand cream is very good. They also do one smelling of almond if you don't like bananas. They do a heavy duty one for gardeners but that one is very greasy.

NotSoGrumpy · 25/04/2012 14:04

Neutrogena concentrated hand cream is great and not too greasy

Clippedwings · 25/04/2012 14:05

Neutrogena fast absorbing handcream. Really sinks in, really moisturises and no residue.

oohermrs · 25/04/2012 14:09

Another Nutrogena fan it stops my hands feeling like sandpaper!!!

polyhymnia · 25/04/2012 14:13

Clarins is my firm favourite - easy to apply, non-greasy, and really works.

ihatethecold · 25/04/2012 14:19

Neutrogena. Best one by farSmile

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 25/04/2012 14:20

Body shop hemp, smells absolutely vile but if you have properly dry hands it is the only thing that will sort them out.

coffeeinbed · 25/04/2012 14:23

Tisserand. smells lovely

FarloRigel · 25/04/2012 14:29

Yes, body shop hemp. Even sorts mine out and they get so bad in work they break open and bleed even using the ordinary stuff they provide.

Popwell · 25/04/2012 14:36

Neal's Yard Garden Mint and Bergamot. Fantastic. You've just reminded me to go and put some on.

AlpinePony · 25/04/2012 14:42

Elizabeth arden 8 hour hand cream. Non greasy gorgeousness.

SpagboLagain · 25/04/2012 14:43

I use doublebase cream. It's a eczema/dry skin cream which drs prescribe but can buy OTC. Not greasy, feels lovely. Also not perfumed which I prefer in a hancream, if handling babies, food etc.

PuffPants · 25/04/2012 14:47

Aveda Hand Relief. I've been using it for years and absolutely love it. I just don't feel right without it. Plus the name amuses me Wink

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 25/04/2012 14:51

Body Shop Hemp is good, and I like the smell. Also doublebase.

But best of all is good old Vaseline at night with cotton gloves on.

Iwantcandy · 25/04/2012 17:14

Thank you may try nutragena first as on a budget

Neutrogena foot cream- i know Grin but it really works- very greasy so put it on at night with gloves

janmoomoo · 25/04/2012 20:58

Body shop hemp. The best. Makes neutrogena seem like oily water!

anniewoo · 27/04/2012 20:45

Janmoomoo i've bought the hemp one to try.

Frog253 · 27/04/2012 20:47

Try the Aldi handcream with 5% urea, the footcream with 10% urea is pretty good too.

daisylulu · 28/04/2012 19:38

I have to recommend Liz Earle Hand Repair. It is pure witchcraft. I have horrendous eczema on my hand which cracks and bleeds. Within 48 hours of using it my dry skin has all but disappeared . Honestly amazing stuff- even my husband couldn't believe it. It is totally NON-GREASY and smells divine (I've used the loccitane one in the past and it's too greasy by far).

I'm so impressed with liz Earle that I've since gone and bought her hand wash and cleanse and polish and love that too.

Iwantcandy · 01/05/2012 22:48

Bleurgh. Went to buy body shoot hemp hand cream and tried a tester first. Hands were super soft but smelled like something died on them or of rotting rubbish. Yuck!
