Yellowy teeth

My teeth are ok, not that yellow but id like them to be a bit whiter. I know bleaching is the only thing that makes a big difference but I can't afford it and don't want to weaken my teeth. Can anyone recommend a tooth paste that genuinely does whiten teeth noticebly and removes stains? All the ones I've used do absolutely nothing. Anyone improved their nashers with toothpaste? I have an electric tooth brush that keeps them nice and clean but still a little yellow.

How much can you spend? I have been using crest professional whitening strips (my dentist recommended them & I get then on the internet) and they have been really great. They are about £40 for 20 strips. I have found that they can make my teeth a bit sensitive, so instead of using them every day I have only used them 2 or 3 times a week, they results are really good though I can really see the difference and I have only used about 15 of the 20 strips.

That's a good idea. Is it not as harsh as bleaching with trays etc? I will look into it thanks. In the mean time still want that elusive whitening toothpaste that works. There must be one!
