Work shoes - HELP!

Where do you all get your work shoes from?! I am after something comfortable but still stylish....mid heel to not too high heel....(can't handle high heels all day anymore, without alocohol anyway), usually wear trousers, occasionally dresses/skirts, normal office attire but Ii go out to clients too so nothing too 'trendy'.
Have looked at M&S as people on here have raved about them and just so uninspired by any of them. Budget up to about £70? No (decent) shops near me so preferably online or could venture into the Big City near me at the weekend.
TIA

Shoon are good, but they are in administration at the moment so perhaps not long term ( though I'd enormously enjoy a big sale there)

www.clarks.co.uk/p/20348947 These Mary @ Clarks ones are great - much smarter than your average Clarks offering and comfiest shoes I've had for years for days when I'm on my feet all day! Online only though....

Went shopping last weekend and everywhere I looked " platform sandal things". Returned home without shoes. Trouble is that I don't like buying shoes online. I always get the size wrong.

chester I love those, but pricey though so will keep an eye out for any discount codes.... They look perfect though...

Agree about the huge amount of sandal/ wedges in the shop at the moment Envy

Mate has lovely low patent wedges with some detail on the front from next. Look nice

I buy from amazon -- free shipping & free returns.

Marks and Spencer Round Toe Patent Court Shoes £15.00, they do another pair for £19.50 which are also so so comfy.

Eclairwaldorf · 24/04/2012 23:35

Thanks all. Will have a look again at Marks and Spencer's.

BMARY20 gets you 20% off at the mo. I'm getting another pair!

Eclairwaldorf · 26/04/2012 23:17

Oh thanks Chester! How goes Clark sizing work? Might order a couple of sizes and then return a pair..... Excited now! Grin

these are my current favourite work shoes. They are much higher than I can normally manage but they are really really comfy, they are kind of cushioned inside.
Perhaps not the most modern but I feel really smart in them and can happily wear them all day.
I bought from JL on one of their discount days, so 20 or 30% off. I might even buy a 2nd pair next time there is a discount day I am that chuffed with them.
