In the market for a new fragrance and really need some new ideas, has to be fresh and lemony with no hint of anything woody, cedar based and definitely no bergamot (bergamont?) also not a huge fan of florals. Unfortunately Jo Malone is out because I want to use my advantage card points at boots. Clean, linen and citrus based fragrance is what I'm after. Please help me!!!

Why not go to smell this on the net for some reviews as I can't think of anything citrus based tbh

Susieloo · 23/04/2012 18:19

I use sisley no 3 dunno if they have that at boots (probably) it fits the bill

I know you said Jo Malone was out but JM Verbena is lovely. Why not sell your points / vouchers to a friend , workmate, relative and get Jo Malone or Annick Goutal L'eau d'Hadrien- lemony too. Nicer than L'occitane verbena

how about DKNY?

ninjanurse · 23/04/2012 20:55

I like armani Code, which I think is quite lemony.

emdelafield · 23/04/2012 20:59

how about O De Lancome or Chanel Cristalle?
Both lovely and lemony and available in Boots!

Susieloo · 23/04/2012 21:01

Am making a list so I can take it into John Lewis to try them all out. Used to use dkny the green apple one but I know they have bought out loads of other ones since then

Dkny original? Smells like lemon sherbet to me

Maraki · 23/04/2012 21:23

Chanel Crystalle

emsyj · 23/04/2012 21:28

I was going to say DKNY - very fresh and citrussy. For something more 'eveningy' I think Calvin Klein Contradiction (if they still make it!!!) is very nice and smells of orange and sherbet.

Guinnessisgoodforyou · 24/04/2012 05:40

Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden is lovely.

Benefit perfumes are now made by the Chanel creative director I was told! Lee Lee is lovely, citrus-y, fresh and long lasting. Definitely worth a smell and a bargain at £29.

Estee lauder new bronze goddess capri is lovely
