Weddings: Do your shoes and handbag have to match??

I have a blue dress, black shoes, long silver necklass and a silver grey bag... Does that sound OK. Can't find silver shoes I like anywhere...

Sounds fine. Some people like the matchy matchy look. Some don't I don't think there is any wedding-related rules about it.

They certainly don't have to match, no. Actually, IMHO, matching bag and shoes is really rather dated. That said, black shoes does sound a bit odd with teh rest of the outfit, blue or nude would be a more natural choice I think.

Hmmm, will have to look into nude shoe options - I can't find blue ones anywhere. Can anyone recommend some? Budget £50 or less... not too high, possibly with a bit of a platform in...

As long as it looks elegant and you can carry it off brilliantly its perfect. Just be confident with the look. And honeslty it doesnt sound like a bad combination. Good Luck!
