Any advice on high street jeans for curvy with smaller waist?

I always spend a day dragging around the high street sweating and struggling with my self esteem ;-) trying to get a pair of jeans. I've just put in two hours today and was hoping for some advice to minimise stress in my continued search.

I am a size 14 with very curvy legs, full thighs and hips but a small waist. I'm 5' 7" and a keen walker with muscular legs. I have a 31" inside leg. I do have quite nice, slim ankles which I would quite like to show rather than burying everything under bootcuts but the skinny leg jeans don't go up!

I have this problem - generous thighs and bum and small waist.

White Stuff quite often have trousers that fit well, though I've never tried their jeans specifically.

Levis do a "curve" range which is supposed to be for our shape but I tried it and it didn't work for me - might for you though?

Not high street but online you can order Gap Curvy Skinny jeans. Only problem is availability of sizes.

Try Seven, that usually has a really nice fit especially there jeggings (that look exactly like jeans). Hope that helps! If i think of something else will let you know :)
