Body Shop Roma perfume.

Does anyone remember the Roma perfume that the Body shop used to sell,and can anyone recommend a similar smelling perfume?

From what I remember it was an incredibly fresh-smelling floral based perfume.

I have never heard of it, clicked the thread thinking it must be a new one.

Try checking perfume websites like Basenotes.com or Fragrantica to find out what the notes are, then searching for perfumes with similar combinations?

I used to wear it as a teenager. It was quite fruity and floral wasn't it.

According to basenotes Paris by YSL is similar.

Not sure if helps but I loved it and also like Chloe, Ralph Lauren Romance and the Balenciaga light one.

Have u tried Parisienne by ysl - is lighter than Paris which IMO is a tad heavy especially coming into the summer.

I shall definately be checking out Paris and Parisienne.

I used to like Chloe too,Emo76,but not tried the other two.

The reason I want something like Roma is because I remember someone complimenting me that whenever they went near me I smelled so clean and fresh.For years since I've loved more ambery/musky perfumes but this Summer I've decided to buck against the trend and I really want something fresh smelling but not with a citrus base,so I thought I'd try to re-visit that.

Oh yes! Roma was a gorgeous perfume - loved the way the old Body Shop perfume oils used to blend and warm on your skin. I wish they'd bring that back, and the old Rose Musk.

Houbigant did a floral/oriental fragrance called Demi-Jour that I seem to remember being quite similar, but apparently another company bought the rights, and it's not as nice any more.

Oh my goodness you won't believe it but I actually still have some Roma perfume!!! I only wear it on very special occasions and it isn't as strong as it used to be but I still get comments on it whenever I wear it!!! I bought the little glass bottle about 28 years ago and it still smells beautiful!!! I really wish The Body Shop would bring it back, along with Japanese Musk!!!! I still have some of that too!!! xxx

I had some Roma, I can remember the smell of it, very heavy and floral but natural-smelling. I also liked visionary and really wish I still had some!

I loved Roma from the Body Shop.
I still have two small bottles.
It smells like Nina Ricci L'Air de Temp.But Roma is so much prettier.

I know this is an old thread but yes, I loved Roma. I can remember the smell so clearly. The oils were so much nicer than normal perfume. Wish they would bring back the perfume oils. They'd sell so many to 50 year old women on a nostalgia trip.
