Just been sent a sample of it and love it-beats Laura Mercier (my previous fave).

I'm a big fan of it too. The lightest colour is great for my very pale skin - Laura Mercier never, ever looked quite right on my skin but the LE does.

I do think LE is better on non oily skin though!

I am looking forward to buying this. I a, hopeful it will be part of the tsv coming up on QVCUK in a few weeks time - along with the new make up range!

ArcticRoll · 22/04/2012 14:45

Is it cheaper to buy Liz Earle on qvc?

ArticRoll -yes they are very good pricewise compared to her shop/website.

I use a few LE items so I don't buy the kits, but I buy the duo or trio of Cleanse & Polish and I love the Serum but not the Eye Cream with the 'reflector' particles.

I don't like lavender at all so if they rave about the floral smell and lavender then I wouldn't.

(So that's the toner off limits. And her handcream. And SuperBalm. And her Body Wash smells like furniture polish to me)

valiumredhead · 22/04/2012 15:55

Oh I was very disappointed with it, it felt really heavy and sticky.

ArcticRoll · 22/04/2012 16:00

valiumred-yes it's such an individual thing-few years back on MN everyone was raving about Chanel's Vitalumiere -so I splashed out on pot of it but was really disappointed.
Thanks 70isa will have to watch qvc.

It is individual you are right - glad it works for you though, it's great when you find something that works.

I received a sample in my Red magasine and loved it so much I went out and ordered some. I LOVE it, and have had several comments on my skin.

Kewcumber · 25/04/2012 13:03

I love it too.

Put some on my face, hated it, thought it looked shiny and greasy and went downstairs to slap a load of powder on to matt it down a bit. In the five minutes it took to get downstairs, something miraculous seemed to happen and it disappeared into my skin and looked great.

gregssausageroll · 25/04/2012 13:21

Can anyone tell me page number from red? I have my may issue but no tint in it that I can see.

realhousewifeoffitzrovia · 25/04/2012 15:57

I tried it (thanks, Red) and thought it was amazing too and then found out that it had all sorts of parabens in it. I thought we don't do parabens. Do we?

EnglishEponine · 25/04/2012 15:59

No tint in mine either gregs

My bottle of Sheer Skin Tint in the lightest shade just came through the door :)

I have it on now, it's a good match for my pale skin (maybe a touch too yellow but nothing major) but rather shiny on me. I think I may have applied too much trying to get more coverage (very bad skin at the mo, slowly clearing up with liz earle's other fabulous miracle products) and therefore it can't all sink in properly?

BellaVita · 25/04/2012 16:02

And I found a sample last week in my makeup basket that I must have been sent ages ago. I used it and found it to be fab too!

AlexandraMary · 25/04/2012 16:03

I love both Liz Earle and Laura Mercier. The Liz Earle is quite a bit heavier - almost foundation I'd say. but it is lovely.

Kewcumber · 25/04/2012 16:44

I don't think LE bill it as a tinted moisturiser (from memory) If you need more coverage I would think you'd be better putting two thin layers on.
