H&M sizing: If I'm a large 16 or small 18, do i order size 14/16 or 18/20 top???

Bloody dumbass stoopid sizing! Not bought from H&M before, about 38E bra, bit of a tummy, depending what I wear I am a 16 0r 18...

are the H&M clothes sizes veerng towards generous or small? If I order 14/16 will it be too tight, if I order 18 / 20 will it be too big and baggy?

IME they are rather generous in their sizing.

I think it depends which range you are buying in H&M. the LOGG stuff seems pretty big, the stuff sized in european 34,36,38 etc seems small in my opinion but the stuff sized s m l xl is pretty big. a medium is a 14-16 and seemed quite big. I got the mn dresses in m and they were too big. I'm a 14.
