What colour cardi/bolero/shrug for this dress?

I have bought this dress for a wedding next week. Need a ling sleeved cardi/bolero type thing to go with.

What colour do you think? Navy/cream? Or something else?

What colour shoes have you got?

Navy shoes. I already had them. They look fine with it. But navy cardi looks a bit wrong.

Argh. Might go back to the black dress. It is easier to accessorise!

Navy is the hardest colour to match up. Theres too many shades.

Cream is ironicly {sp} much easier to jazz up eg red shoes or snake skin patten.

Some shades of deep violet could work.

I would go more along a pink / yellow / orange type option. Would any of these do?

Hmm I am a ginger, so can't really do yellow, pink or Orange.

Ah - pink would look good, but, if you don't like it, then you don't like it. The Daily Fail had a nice cape recently (scroll down article, is about mid-way), but can't locate it on the DP website. Colour not ideal, but would the style suit you?

Fluffycloudland has a point about deep violet too. Will see what else is around.

Do a search on the Monsoon and FennWrightManson sites for shrug / bolero - they both have a range of colours and styles, so hopefully something might suit.
I am guessing the dress colour is darker in RL? From the link it looks as though black accessories would go well.

Thanks. It needs to be long sleeved, the wedding is this Saturday and I will freeze! Planning on wearing some thermals under it as it is!
