what do you wear under a jacket?

I have to wear a jacket for work and want some nice fitted tops that don't get ruffled up. Everything I own has lost shape. So where do you buy good quality tops- long or three quarter sleeves (not too thin) or nice non-ruffly shirts?

TM Lewin are, or were a couple of years ago when I was buying, good for properly fitting, long lasting shirts.

For tops, think it's a matter of shopping around as it will depend on heavieness of material / fabric as to how well they last - probably best to use House of Fraser or John Lewis as a starting point - Joseph and MaxMara both wear very well and tend to be nicely reduced in the sales too
