Eyebrows - help!

I'm ashamed to admit I have never ever even tried to do anything to my eyebrows and don't know where to start. They're not awful (or at least I hope not!) but I've always been terrified that if I start fiddling about with them I won't know where to stop and will end up looking very odd. However, I'd love to know what I would look like if they were done properly - would anyone be able to offer some advice as to where to go to get them sorted out?
Thanks so much

Personally I prefer threading to waxing. Mine are naturally quite a bit lighter than my hair so having them tinted darker works really well as it doesn't look fake.

Good eyebrows make such a difference, euphemia mentioned a treatment that's often called HD brows. Make sure the beautician knows your new to eyebrow shaping so want a natural look. Let us know how it goes! (if you have a low pain threshold like me take a painkiller first)!
