Slowest refund?

It's been 2 weeks since I sent back some shoes to HoF, had the email confirming they have been received yesterday so I know the parcel hasn't got lost, but the email says 10 days for funds to be credited to my account which could be over 3 weeks from returning! Any other stores this slow? Might make me re think ordering in the future!

Next have lost a few parcels of mine lately one was a £28 top and took a lot of hassling to get them to credit so I won't use them anymore.

We had an order from YellowMoon which went AWOL in the lead up to Christmas. The courier company obviously didn't deliver or leave a 'calling card' so we were oblivious to the fact that it needed to be collected or redelivery scheduled. We flagged it up to YM but to no avail. Some 12 weeks after the original order was placed (so well after Christmas) we received a letter saying the goods had been returned to YM and that our account would be credited. In view of current economic climate, decided we'd prefer our money back. Finally four months after placing our order we got our money back as a cheque which then took a further week to clear....Yawn...

It's a total pain isn't it? I think it's worse if you do an online order than if you ask for a refund in-store.
