Ah I was awaiting the bunion klaxon

I've got one , on my left foot. My (unbunioned) mate said on holiday a while back, 'Whats that?' .I nearly punched her

Anyhoo, back to the shoes. My latest find in Monsoon suede ballet pumps that are quite high cut at the sides but accomodating for lumps. Also dont show any toe cleavage. £30.

I'm wearing my last years sandals, cant be arsed to buy any more

PerryCombover · 17/04/2012 21:06

Ta cyb
Impossible to find anything at the moment, as can't be arsed with the width cleavage blah

Will look at those pumps

New Look have some wedges in. I usually find them quite generous in the girth

WellBlowMe · 17/04/2012 22:37

Ooh watching with interest - double bunioned!
Last year got some gorgeous sandals from El Naturalista. V comfy and v discreet strap right over the offenders. Can't find them anywhere to link.

PerryCombover · 18/04/2012 00:28

Hide this from sight but....
Could I wear these without being laughed outta town?

CointreauVersial · 18/04/2012 00:41

Cyb, we could be bunion twins - mine's on my right foot.

I live in flip flops all summer - let the bunions be free!

I did buy [http://www.marksandspencer.com/Leather-Round-Snub-Knot-Pumps/dp/B002U89WA4?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_35&nodeId=171926031&sr=1-35&qid=1334705927 these]] recently, in black. Not wildly thrilling, but comfy.

CointreauVersial · 18/04/2012 00:42

Try again.

these

cybbo · 18/04/2012 17:13

Perry I like the retro colours on those but have an inbuilt aversion to anyhting remotely FitFlop

What we bunioned ones must avoid is sandals with spaghetti strands that go over our feet which part and let our bunions poke out

Not pretty

CointreauVersial · 18/04/2012 23:59

Ooh yes, sandal straps have to be sturdy.

Don't laugh, but I am strangely drawn to these.

PerryCombover · 19/04/2012 08:50

I like those in the white but wouldn't wear as I still think cork should only be on student walls

CointreauVersial · 19/04/2012 12:58

Or in wine bottles??

I like the white least. They are all very lairy, though. Not sure I should be shouting LOOK AT MY FEET!!!!!

nothingoldcanstay · 19/04/2012 15:57

I am just in the process of recovering from a double bunion op! I am so looking forward to not having this worry every summer (hopefully - bandages not off yet!).

My success story has been Clarks brown nubuck, wedge heel, mary janes. Height, softness and covered it all up. Got some cheap wedge espedrilles from La Redoute and some flat sandals from Spain (sorry no help)

nothingoldcanstay · 19/04/2012 16:00

Bit like these but nubuck and differnt strap.www.clarks.co.uk/p/20349555. We live near a Clarks outlet - they were only £20.

soyabean · 19/04/2012 20:15

I bought some seasalt sandals after reading a thread on here - I think I like them and think they will cover up my left foot bunion, but not squash too much. Has rained since they arrived though so am still in trusty DMs.

PerryCombover · 19/04/2012 20:50

Balls, still no shoes

Perry I bought these last year schuh loafers and wore them loads. They fit fine over my bunion and are very comfy - quite soft and have stretched to accommodate the bump. The tan colour makes them look reasonably summery. Any good?

busyboysmum · 20/04/2012 19:08

I've got one on each foot and have just bought these which combine my twin comfort shoes of fitflops and crocs in one supremely comfy shoe:

www.amazon.co.uk/FitFlop-Shoes-Gogh-Leather-Honey/dp/B007D6Z4MS/ref=sr_1_29?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1334945224&sr=1-29

I love them

busyboysmum · 20/04/2012 19:09

Sorry have no idea how everyone else has managed to do clever links, is there a tutorial anywhere?

soyabean · 20/04/2012 19:13

Just below the box you type in!

pinkhebe · 20/04/2012 19:15

pink sandles from George bargain £12

£8 bargain from george

I like these sandals because they don't constrict my bunions, and the first one is fussy enough to hide them, but they can still poke through the holes Grin

pinkhebe · 20/04/2012 19:17

You see I like to let my bunions freeeeee

busyboysmum · 20/04/2012 19:17

Fitflop Clogs

Ahem.
