I usually just use Pantenne, which my hairdresser openly sneers at, and have never used an expensive shampoo or conditioner - if I trade up, will it really make a difference?

I am mostly pretty happy with my hair anyway, and wash it every 3 days, although by day 3 it is really not looking so hot...could a better set of products change all that...?

LOreal Elvive for coloured hair - red bottle.

jamjamjam , many thanks for that link. It's definitely a bit cheaper than usual. Really good to know about that. Every little helps!

Funnily enough, always suspect I'm being fleeced at the salon probably because I am but always leave restocking until the last minute because I'm so lazy disorganised. Will definitely try buying online next time.

I am a huge fan of the Honey and Oat shampoo and conditioner from Label m, available at Toni&Guy. Makes my hair soft and non-frizzy, however I am going to have a BB soon so can't use the shampoo anymore.

I use Liz Earle, its about £8 which I don't think is too bad considering other shampoos I've seen in boots are about £5-6. You only really need a little bit.

Theres only one shampoo but a range of conditioners depending on your hair type. Its really improved my hair, now it looks very healthy and shiny without getting greasy. Also the brand is approved by PETA.

You can buy online, or from John Lewis. As a side not her skin care is also wonderful.

I use the Gliss products as well as the shine spray. Brilliant products imho and very good value for money. Have tried salon products before and always end up going back to Gliss. The price difference goes towards the shoe fund.

Also have just bought Argan oil and have to say that altough it is good, I get just the same soft and shiny results using Gliss.
