Been hunting for weeks now for a navy cotton cardi with no joy. Even went to M&So classics in desparation. You are my last hope.

I got one in Monsoon. Though it's more of a shruggy kind of cardi with long sleeves.

MagsAloof · 16/04/2012 14:51

Next? Had good oneslast year

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 14:51

I got a great one in Uniqlo. It's silk/cotton/cashmere mix but I think they do plain cotton too.

tiredteddy · 16/04/2012 14:51

I thought I saw navy in gap, also have you tried h&m as the have a rainbow of cardigans in at the moment ?

Metabilis3 · 16/04/2012 15:02

I got one in Banana Republic a few weeks ago.

nickelhasababy · 16/04/2012 15:03

Zara?

they have loads of normal cardis.

Springsister · 16/04/2012 15:40

Thanks. Seen a few but they always are too long. Added frills. Bolero style etc. Or viscose mix cashmillion rubbish. Will try uniqlo and banana rep. Off to google now.

I got a nice one from the Gap outlet, 30% off. Not too long, crew neck, nice buttons, 'clean' lines, 100% cotton.

FamiliesShareGerms · 16/04/2012 15:52

Second H&M and Uniqlo

cardoon · 16/04/2012 16:05

Yup to The Gap one, plain and simple, not long, just perfect for summer

Last day of 30% off today!

crazyaccountant · 16/04/2012 18:00

You must go to H and M immediately. Just bought one for about £8 and it's perfect. Bargain.

jumpinghoops · 16/04/2012 18:27

Second? Third? The h&m one for 7.99, I think it felt better quality to me than the GAP one even though there is a touch of polyamide in there. The one I tried in gap felt very thin.

OneHandFlapping · 16/04/2012 18:28

I got the H&M one, and thought it was bargainous. However, one wash later there are a couple of places where the welting round the neck has come away and one hole where the knitting has just come apart for no reason.

I wish I'd got the GAP one now.

Springsister · 16/04/2012 19:01

Ok thanks for your replies. It sounds like gap one is best choice.

I'm not able to get to shops due to small children and work so was planning to buy online. Went on the gap website but the only one I could find was modelled by pregnant lady. Does anyone have a link please?

Springsister · 16/04/2012 21:57

OP posts:
Springsister · 16/04/2012 21:58

White company. Lovely but pricey.

OP posts:
Springsister · 16/04/2012 22:01

Usually like fat face but tis too chunky for my chunky frame summer

OP posts:
MeTheMog · 16/04/2012 22:11

Don't know if you can see the Fat Face one in RL but it is not as chunky as it might look in the pictures. (I also have to be very careful about not padding my ample frame out too much!)

Springsister · 17/04/2012 22:30
