not content with having mahoosive boobs (32G) which means many bikinis are out I also have a horrible wobbly apron I need to stuff down my pants. teeny weeny will not cut it. I am also carrying a bit of extra weight at the mo which I intend to sort out before we go away but life seems to have different ideas with ill child today meaning I can't get to gym etc etc. If it isn't one thing it is another. Anyway, been looking on bravissimo and figleaves but getting very confused. Anyone know of a brand or shop that would be a good place to start. I will need more than one so not really want to spend stupid money if I can help it. I don't really want to wear anything too frumpy. I want to be like everyone else for once and wear a bikini on holiday, it has taken me a few years to get the nerve to even consider it so please tell me there is one out there for me. Blush

Like you I have the dreaded apron of loose skin and shapeless 32e boobs but am determined to wear a bikini on our first abroad holiday in years. I ordered a few from figleaves as you can get your bra size and there is normally a selection of matching bottoms ranging from teeny weeny to the bigger ones that cover the scar. I found figleaves good as able to try on in the comfort of my own home and returns are easy and the money was refunded really quickly. There wasn't one specific brand I ordered, I just looked for a similar shape bra to my normal ones so I knew it would give me shape and big pants! Good luck x

think I prefer figleaves to bravissimo even though they have some of the same styles but I think have more options. Good luck to you too QC. It is scary the thought of flashing the flesh but I am determined too. I look back at when I stopped wearing bikinis as I thought I was too fat and realise I would be elated if I looked like that now. xx

Me too! I haven't worn a bikini for 8 years which was my honeymoon so I was in thebest shape ever but still was not confident!

you wouldn't fancy doing linkies to the ones you got on well with do you? might be a good place to start.

I am exactly the same shape as you! Freya are the best I have found - they are mix and match, you can get fold over briefs which are fab and the bikini tops are a great fit. I am too much of a wimp now and have the freya supernova tankini instead!

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2012 14:00

I can't find them on there anymore as I bought them in the sale a couple of months ago. One was Freya and the other was Pour Moi. The Freya pants were too teeny so I just bought some plain black ones from m&s. Can't do links on iPad but it was the low rise hipster briefs. I sized up and they cover my scar and allow me to tuck a bit of skin in! There'll definately be worse sights than us on the beach Grin

Ta QC, I have just done a BIG shopping basket via the iPad (totally understand your linky issues) so I can see in one place what might be suitable and we will have to wait and see but it is looking promising. Freya did seem to have some lovely ones too. Thanks to yo both. I am trying to avoid tankinis as long as I can as I find them a pain to swim in and I do like to swim as well as sunbathe. I just hope when these arrive to try on they aren't all lower down than they look, scar and hangyover bit is at a very awkward place. Think I really just need to find out about a tummy tuck if honest. But am too scared. Maybe if I Duck Tape my apron down I could get away with it Wink
