i have a challenge for you!

I am going to Nice at the end of may for a gay friends 40th birthday weekend. I've just been sent the invite and the whole weekend is themes gatsby glamour and we need to dress that way too.

So I need a capsule wardrobe for 4 days that oozes gatsby...

HELP!!!!

Well theoritically there should be lots of 20's style stuff in the shops but I haven't spotted it.

Drop waisted flapper dress I guess but haven't seen any around.

Perhaps pretty beaded/embellished sort of bed jacket thing over a vest top with jeans.

One day we are 'at sea', the others lunches...

At sea: Breton and white trousers? Get the DVD and have a look at the sort of things they wear?

Daytime in true Gatsby style could be wide legged trousers & fitted chiffon blouse, or maybe a 'tennis' style outfit (Boden's cricket jumper perhaps here). Large floppy hat and strings of pearls would be good too?

You'd probably get away with anything navy/white for being at sea?

I think its a lovely theme for the location. They have just remade The Great Gatsby with Leo Dicaprio and Carey Mulligan - some inspiration here
