I have just been in their Kings Rd store and actually bought a couple of things. Their XL tops actually fit me, unlike other stores(stares sternly atZara)
Lovely store....they ask your name at the fitting room and write it on the door.
They spelt mine totally wrong.

Why would they ask your name?

ameliameerkat · 14/04/2012 15:03

I love Anthropologie, but it's way out of my price range Sad

waitingforgodot · 14/04/2012 15:13

have only been in their shop in nyc but I lust after their clothes. Very expensive but lovely

WillPenn · 14/04/2012 15:13

Sizing does depend on the brand a bit. They have great reductions on their sale rail!

AnxiousPanxious · 14/04/2012 15:14

Quality of fabric has gone waaaaaayyyyy down though, production too.
LOTS of viscose mix now, hard to find cotton/wool/linen. Didn't used to be.

i went into the regents street one last week and was less than impressed. though the plants were very good Grin
writing your name is a bit twee Grin

I got a top for £56 and a cardigan for £76 which I didn't think was too bad.

There's less cotton everywhere at the moment because the price is too expensive hence so much viscose on the hight street.

Which tops did you buy Mrsrobertduvall? Am in London next Saturday may take a look . . .

VerityClinch · 14/04/2012 18:45

I spent a small fortune in the sales at Anthropologie but every single thing was a winner. Best high waist flarey leg trousers EVER.

AnxiousPanxious · 14/04/2012 19:56

Yes mrs c b but I expect to find cotton now in high end stores ( we ll this is not high high end but it is for the high street). I don't expect viscose, it's horrible in most forms: bobbles if knitted, creases if woven, takes print badly etc.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/04/2012 09:00

Anxious - I am not a viscose fan althought its ok in jersey form but there is a lot of it and polyester around even in 'designer' stuff currently - I won't buy it though but some people must be . . .
