Hi I'm in desperate need of new clothes and due to being unable to find a full time job after finishing uni funds are low! All my clothes are really old and I just want to throw them all out and start again! I have £100, whats the best way to spend it??

Hiya,

I am on a limited budget aswell and literally have no clothes since Iv had my DD coz they are all too small I went to matalan and spent £150 on LOADS of stuff which has really turned my wardrobe around. I got a nice dress for £8! a pair of jeans 2 nice cardigans leggings tights a shirt a pair of shoes and a few vest tops.

Thinking about it I spent around £50 on my DD and DH so all that came to £100 which I thought was pretty good.

Id get yourself a dress
A pair of jeans
trousers
cropped trousers
a few tops
a skirt
and a cardy to start you off that was you can mix and match a bit. :)

I buy a lot (all really!) of my clothes from either eBay or Facebook selling sites, I've been selling my old stuff and using the PayPal funds to buy more.

Jeans I get from primark, £9 a pair and they are my favourite for fit.

Charity shops & Ebay- but work out exactly what you are looking for, first.

RhiRhi123 · 13/04/2012 14:59

I forgot about that. I look online and if I like something I go and look for it on ebay! and have sold loads on there and carboots aswell to make some money for new stuff.

I also have 2 pairs of primark £9 jeans!

I'd try to find some bits that would work in an office, otherwise when you do find a job you'll be really struggling to afford to kit yourself out all over again.

i do already have a job its just not full time so am ok for work clothes

I bought some lovely clothes from Matalan too. I was really impressed with the quality for the price. Got some lovely wedge espadrilles too.
