Help! Need short eyelash extensions!

I really want to get eyelash extensions for my wedding in September, but the last time I tried them I ended up with massive ones that looked ridiculous! I'm going to try another salon, but all the example pics I keep seeing are really long spidery looking lashes, I'd like mine shorter and fuller. More natural looking like Audrey Hepburn.
Has anyone got any pics that I could show the therapist? Or do the false lashes only come in a long length? Am I asking the impossible?

I don't want them to look like this:

But I can't find any pics of what I do want them to look like!

Ok. I know a thing or two.....

Eyelash extensions come in many lengths and thicknesses, and several degrees of curl. Havent seen you of course, but i would say you probably want 8 or 10mm length, a .15mm thickness and a B or C curl. And a kitten flick (where they place slightly longer lashes towards the outer corner of your eye)

If your own lashes are very fair, get them tinted first.

This would give most women a natural but visible look with a lift at the edges.

The best extensions are done by beauticians who specialise, do practically nothing else, and have been 'lashing' for a couple of years at least.

The ones on offer for £20 are likely to be crapola imho.

Hope this helps.

Hi Shell, Esmereldada's advice fab for extensions Smile

If you do use glue on false lashes for nights out though there are some brilliant short thick ones that Revlon do - they are called Thickening Chic (91204 on my pack). They are short enough not to hit my glasses but fab for volume/darkness - especially if you use the dark glue to apply.
you can get them (of all places!) at Asda look here
