Need inspiration for tops and knitwear to buy for summer...please :-)

I wear a lot of dresses usually in the summer but the last 2 summers have accrued a good selection of trousers and skirts without really having much to wear with them except tees and vests. It means that i always feel a bit too casual. I keep looking but can't find anything that really thrills me.

Bottom half consists of: coloured skinnies and skinny crops; 50s vintage floral skirts (in particular one with hot pink and orange roses on a white background) and two basic cotton skirts which finish just above the knee - one a rich sky blue and the other a pale magenta colour).

I am size 8-10 and have a loathing of polyester and other man-made fibres and I am not wild about neutrals either. I like a little colour in my life :).

Any suggestions?

I bought some tops in Cos yesterday: grey with ribbon and this but in a green/white print (it has disappeared off the site since a couple of days ago). A friend of mine has this which is also lovely. Any good?
