Superga- thanks to the Cons alternative thread

My shiny silver Superga arrived today. I love them, my DS think they're good because they're different. My DD has warned that she won't be seen out in public with me if I wear them. Result :)

What's the sizing like? I'm a 6 or 6.5 and sometimes take a 7 annoying so find buying footwear online can be a minefield.

I like the look of the lace up gold ones and the slip on / ballets in lavender

The sizing is generous. These are a 5.5 and feel like a 6. They're also quite broad across the ball of the foot,I can wiggle my feet in them.

I think they are bloody gorgeous ...but they do look as though they're made from tinfoil .

I'd like a pink pair but am probably too old now . . .

I've just got the iris blue ones. Had to downsize to a 3, I'm normally a 4.

I'm far too old for these, according to 14 year old DD.

Where did you get them from Gypsy? I want to replace mine & dd's but am only finding bland colours.

I had to search for ages though and when I tried to find them again today I couldn't .They are the 2750 Cotmetu silver lace ups if that helps.

I saw these on the other thread.... I love the look of them, but I have odd feet and need to try shoes on. Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks them? any of the range, just so I can try them on and order online with confidence!

I have navy blue ones which make my feet look big (they are a size 7 anyway) and aren't nearly as comfy as my converse.

Apart from that I love them.

I've managed to buy some silver Superga but in a 41 they're too big. They are beautiful & hard to get hold of so before I eBay, PM me if you're interested (will only charge MNers what I paid of course)

I have got 5 pairs. They are way better than converse!

I have navy and pink. I wanted silver so much I thought I could go up a size but silly idea. If anyone sees a silver or gold in a 40 let me know!

Just looked at link excitedly, I have never seen any before, must say I like my converse better

Converse are as much of a middle aged mum cliche as brown boots and an a line skirt.

so what would you have midle-aged mums wear?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - they're daps!! And pricey ones at that. Can't really see how Supergas are any different to Converse.
