I started using this programme about a month ago and for the first week thought it was brilliant. Now I think it's absolute crap and my skin is awful. The toner is like white spirit and is hideous.

I need recommendations, cheap and cheerful ones if possible please? I do quite like the face wash but the toner and moisturiser are beyond awful.

I tried the three step, lasted two days. I think I prefer my skin on my face, not stripped off! I took it back. Now, based on recomendations on here, I'm using Liz Earle cleanse and polish, and the toner, and I LOVE it. So nice and fresh and my skin is amazing! Erm.... but not very cheap and cheerful I'm afraid...... About £12-14 a product, well for me that's expensive but I don't know for everyone else!

I started using Clinique 3 step about a month ago too & my skin is transformed! Lots of people have commented on it. I know everyone's skin is different & it's not suited to everyone, but I love it!

Sorry, forgot to say that some friends swear by the No 7 moisturisers. They used Protect & Perfect for a while, but then switched to the newer one that's cheaper & get on great with it. The £5 off vouchers help too.

You have to be careful with Cinique toners. Some of them feel like meths on your skin.

PerryCombover · 11/04/2012 11:55

If you like Clinique use the mild face wash and mild toner (mild toner especially good)
Everything else is bunged full of alcohol and shit
Depends on skin type after that

Take it back and ask them to swap to mild, make a fuss if needs be
Dramatically different is just shitola all round

I've prob left it too late to take it back I've used half of it already. I kept thinking it would get better . The toner is particularly hideous and actually hurts when I put it on. Dismal stuff. Have fancied the No 7 stuff before actually so I might give that a bash.

Liz Earle is amazing, its cheap and simple (by cheap i mean compared to Decleor which i used previously).
Have had comments about my skin since using it, i feel like ive lost about 10 years Grin.
the hot cloth cleanser (cleanse and polish) and toner are so soft and gentle on the skin, and suit all skin types and ages.
Moisturiser comes in light, normal/comb and dry skin options. They also do a superskin moisturiser for more mature skin which my mother uses.
Am also obsessed with the body wash and body exfoliator.
I love it all Smile

Try Olay 2 in 1 Dailyfacial cloths sensitive and then a rinse in warm water, pat dry...before Liz earle
I think you'll be surprised
